| Founded in 1993, Ian Ryan Interactive started as a video production company with an eye on the emerging interactive market. In 1994, we were one of the first production companies to establish a Media 100 digital non-linear editing suite. This system allowed us not only to edit video more efficiently but also to digitize video for CD-ROM projects. 1996 brought a second Media 100 suite with even higher resolution. In 1997, we added two additional graphics suites and moved to larger offices in Park Ridge, Illinois. Additionally, we purchased all the equipment necessary for producing QTVR - QuickTime Virtual Reality - for interactive tours of resorts worldwide. In 1998 and 1999, we continued to explore emerging technologies and sustained growth with the addition of staff and equipment for interactive and web projects. 2000 brought us into DVD programming and mastering with a focus on the corporate market. In early 2000, we added staff and more space. We currently have a staff of 14 professionals in our video, web and multimedia departments. |
